Sitka Legends Pineapple Kali Mist

Dispite the mis-name at the vendor this was a surprisingly enjoyable hybrid with a sativa name. Very good quality, glad I saw it but wouldn't pay the price again to see it twice.

I bought a few items from the Beacon Hill Value Buds in Calgary the in July 2023, including this Pineapple Kali Mist by Sitka Legends, grown by Quadessenece.

When I went into Value Buds, I didn't have a plan for what I wanted. I say this offering written on their menu, but it was written as it's written in the screenshot below "Pineapple Kali Mintz", which is what sparked my interest at first.

Infact, this is not this is not Kali Mintz, it's Kali Mist. Reading the producer's website for this offering, it's a cross of Pineapple Express and Kali Mist. The bud tender noticed at the point of sale and asked if I was ok with the mis-name. Only mildly dissapointed, I decided to go for it anyways.

Visuals

Interesting shape. Lots of open structure, probably due to genetics. Bad trim but I think you can forgive it.

Feel

Feel is really soft and fresh

Scent

The aroma has a herbal frontage chopped up with some crisp greens

Taste

Opens with a nice citrus anise which follows into a sweet earthy midrange that carries slight resins. Has more dimension than you'd expect, taste like a well rounded hybrid instead of a sativa.

Value

Although the quality is fairly good and the flavour profile unique, value is mid range at this price point with the quality seen. I'd return to the producer but not this offering specifically
